Associate
Membership in the Michigan State Police Troopers Association is open to any
eligible retired enlisted officer of the Michigan State Police regardless of
rank at the time of retirement. Membership is also available to the spouse of
a deceased retiree meeting eligibility. Eligible retiree's are those that are
receiving a regular, deferred, or disability retirement from the State Police
Retirement System. Membership is not available to the general public.
Yearly membership dues are $15
if retired prior to October 1, 1987, or $40 if retired on or after October
1, 1987. Presently there are approximately 1,100 retired State Police officers
enjoying the benefits of Associate Membership in the MSPTA.
