Originally from Jackson, Chris enlisted in the State Police in 1997. After graduating from the 115th Trooper Recruit School he was assigned to Richmond Post #24 where he is currently working as a Trooper Investigator in the detective bureau assisting on major cases. Departmentally, Chris has received advanced training as an Advanced Traffic Crash Investigator, Applicant Background Investigator, and as a Field Training Officer.

Chris's active involvement in the Troopers Association started in 2001 when he was elected as the Post Representative at the Richmond Post. He also served as the interim 2nd District North Representative in 2003. Chris serves as co-chairman of the Elections Committee, and is a member of the Constitution and By-Laws Committee.

Chris holds a bachelor's degree in environmental geology from Michigan State University. He currently resides in Marysville.
